280SEL WITH ALL THE RIGHT OPTIONS
The Mercedes sedans of the '60s and '70s will always have a special place in our hearts. It seems that everyone who grew up in that time has a strong memory of them. The W108 and W109 generations embody a classic design language that is still gorgeously relevant today. This particular 280SEL lived out an enthusiast dream, originally opting for European delivery where it covered nearly 3,000 miles before returning to its first home in Denver Colorado.
Heavily optioned, it has a motorized sunroof, A/C and an Orvis luggage rack. The L designation, in combination with the four-speed manual is also exceedingly rare. It's no wonder why the car remained with its original owner until 2019! Purchased from our friends at BringATrailer by an OTTO member, it was thoroughly enjoyed and then transitioned to the OTTO private collection. We hope to own it just as long as the original owner!
